ALBATROSS SCREEN BLASTE

	POWERFUL HIGH PRESSURE CLEANERS FOR SCREEN CLEANING AND RECLAIMING

Albatross Screen Blasters cleaners provide pressure, performance, and reliability necessary for reclaiming and cleaning of screens, with years of frequent use. The modern compact design of Screen Blasters makes them suitable to use in cleaning stores or in a portable way for exterior cleaning. High pressure spraying reduces or eliminates the need for using cleaning and recovery liquids, and it greatly reduces the cleaning time. Its special injectors are designed  to remove emulsions, pattern and to cut films. 

Albatross Screen Blasters are also very helpful in degreasing wefts, ink washing and rings elimination. 

Albatross Screen Blaster MB-1500   
Powered by 1400 P.S.I. through a long lasting brass pump head. The injector of model MB-1500 is totally adjustable, allowing a narrow and precise jet as well as a wide spraying fan type (mist). The sprayer gun and stain trigger are ergonomically designed facilitating the precise weft cleaning. The safety valve for flow excess protects the machine against excessive pressure. 

Albatross Screen Blaster MB-2000   
It provides the same cleaning power at 40% higher flow speed. Furthermore, the operation pressure of  model MB-2000 is totally adjustable, from 5 to 105 bar.MB-2000 is equipped with a trigger extension which allows the user to be standing further away from the weft during the cleaning process. The three ways injector of  model MB-2000 can be adapted allowing a narrow precise jet as well as  a wide spraying fan type , or a jet of chemical product (where cleaning liquids are automatically mixed into water). 

Both  Screen Blaster  Albatross models have been manufactured according to the most modern rules. Both models are suitable to be used with the Albatross Master Tank and the  Water Filtration System WTS. 

3)S.P.I.F. CURED INK REMOVERS

Superkleen® S.P.I.F. and S.P.I.F. II are exclusive solvent mixtures developed to remove spots of cured ink spots from all kinds of printed fabrics.

Introduction
During the screen printing process, the spots originated by fingerprints or the marks on the fabrics can become an expensive problem. The S.P.I.F ink removers, applied with the Albatross cleaning gun , quickly and completely eliminate them, and this allows the garments to be sold as first class items.

Superkleen S.P.I.F and S.P.I.F. II
They provide quick rates of  evaporation and the  solvent high levels needed for an effective removal of the ink stains. Both products remove the plastisol ink-based cured stains, or aqueous inks from all kind of fabrics. Both are exclusively manufactured with highly refined virgin solvents in order to ensure a crystal clear color. Thus the risk that the  product may leave a "ring" type mark in the clean fabric is eliminated. 

Superkleen® S.P.I.F®
Superkleen S.P.I.F. completely removes, from all kind of fabrics, the spots from plastisol-based cured inks and from most  waterbased inks, the sticked printings and the adhesives. Its exclusive oxygenated formulation leaves no sign of spots in the fabrics. Contrary to ther removals, S.P.I.F® is a great cleaning power product that contains no oil hydrocarbon excipient. This ensures the minimum use of product to remove the marks. 
Superkleen S.P.I.F. does not contain 1,1,1trychloroethane, dichlorofluoroethane nor any ozone suppressive substance. It is exempted from regulation #1171 y 1130.1 SCAQMD (Southern California Air Quality Management District). There is no  flash point before the boiling point. Superlkleen S.P.I.F contains methylene chloride (also known as dichloromethane) and it must be used meeting the OSHA exposure standards (Occupational Safety & Health Administration). The OSHA has set a threshold limit volume (TLV) at 25 ppm and a short term exposure limit (STEL) at 125 ppm for methylene chloryde; both are in force since April 10th, 1997. 

S.P.I.F.R II 
S.P.I.F. II is a new and exclusive cured ink remover that does not contain methylene chloride, nor perchloroethylene nor any other chemical product which carcinogenic properties need to be warned. Contrary to SuperkleenR S.P.I.F and other products methylene chloride based, S.PI.F II has a high threshold limit volume and it is not under  the exposure screening requirements and methylene chloride. The HMIS (Health Management Information System) granted S.P.I.F. II a classification "l" or low related to health problems. S.PI.F. II does not contain ketones (like acetone or methylethylketone) and is not regulated a flammable liquid because its flash point is higher than 141º F (~ 46ºC). 
S.P.I.F. II uses a new technology for hallogenated hydrocarbons combined with isoparaffínic hydrocarbons and glycol ethers to provide the necessary physical conditions  to remove cured ink marks. 
S.P.I.F II does not contain any chemical product from the S.A.R.A. 313 list (Superfund Amendment Recovery Act: a law that authorizes the use of federal funds for the cleaning of great ecological accidents)  nor contains any ozone suppressive substance Class 1 or 2. S.PI.F II is not classified as dangerous material for transportation. (Patent pending). 

Superkleen S.P.I.F and S.P.I.F. II are available in packages of 1 and 5 gallons and in  drums of 55 gallons. 
Superkleen S.P.I.F and S.P.I.F. II have been designed to be used with  ALBATROSS SG-5000 and any other cleaning gun

4)EVERBLUM SOLVENTS CLEANING

EVERBLUM is a unique range of solvent mixtures designed to replace the 1,1,1 trichlorethane  in textile, embroidery and apparel manufacturing applications.

EverBlum Solvents for cleaning 
As a new response to replace 1,1,1 trichloroethane,  Albatross has developed some solvent mixtures that offer the best features for textile cleaning. The three recent formulations EverBlum and EverBlum Special replace 1,1,1 trichloroethane . They are all highly effective in eliminating oil, grease and dirtiness from fabrics . However, its physical properties, regulatory states and  costs, vary. The three of them dry quickly, they have nationwide cleaning permissions and are not levying with any special U.S. or Canadian  governmental tax. 

EverBlum Gold
The cleaning fluid EverBlum Gold is a powerful hydrocarbon mixture with  glycol ethers that evaporate. It does not contain 1,1,1 trichloroethane, nor any chloride solvent (methyl chloryde, perchloroethylene, trichlorethylene) nor any hydrochlorofluorcarbon (H.C.F.C.) like dichlorofluorethane. EverBlum Gold only contains ingredients that dry quickly and, hence, evaporates more completely and faster than other mixed products. EverBlum Gold does not contain chemical substances  that may require carcinogenic or ozone layer reduction warnings. Furthermore, EverBlum Gold does not contain chemical substances that may need to be reported according to regulations S.A.R.A. 313. It is a unique solvent mixture that it is not regulated as a dangerous material for transportation. 

New Premium EverBlum (NPE)
New Premium EverBlum is a patented mixture of highly refined solvents. It is very effective to eliminate spots and it does not require fire or cancer warnings. Because NPE contains one part of dichlorfluorethane, it shares many properties that are similar to 1,1,1 trichlorethane, like soft odor, similar to "ether", and a high Threshold Limit Volume (TLV). New Premium EverBlum has no restrictions from E.P.A. if it is aimed to textile cleaning. Those fabrics cleaned with NPE are not regulated to carry an ozone layer reduction label. It has been specially formulated to have 70% less substances reducing the ozone layer than the net trichlorethane 1,1,1 or net dichlorofluorethane ( US Patents  Nº5.419.849 and 5.454.969). 

EverBlum Special
EverBlum Special is a chlorinated solvents mixture (methylene chloride) with narrow cut hydrocarbons. The chlorinated solvents offer a big cleaning power, while the hydrocarbon increase the T.L.V. of the mixture and eliminate the dying loss risk. Ventilation is recommended to keep the steams under the T.L.V. as it is listed in the data sheet of safe materials. The formulation, economical, dries quickly, it does not contain any substance reducing the ozone layer and it does not require either any fire danger labeling. EverBlum Special can remove almost every oil based spots from the fabrics. The ingredients, although potent, do not leave waste in any kind of fabric.

5)ALBATROSS ESPECIALIZED PRODUCTS FOR CLEANING

	Solutions to every spots problems with easy - to - use products.

Albatross Powder Spot Remover
It is a white absorbent powder that literally separates the spot from the fabric, allowing its removal with a brush. It is effective in every kind of fabrics including silk,  taffeta, cotton, wool, polyester and mixed fabrics. The Albatross powder spot remover can be used to eliminate ring marks in fabrics remaining from a liquid cleaner. The powder spot remover does not contain chlorinated solvents.

Albatross Ink-X
It is a spray that dissolves every kind of ink spots from ball point pens, seals, markers, paint and pencils. Ink-X has an exclusive foaming effect that breaks the links between the spots and the fabric. Ink-X does not contain methylene chloryde nor chlorinated solvents. After applying Ink-X, rinse with any liquid solvent cleaner. 

Formula L.R.  Albatross
It eliminates ink spots from ball point pens, inks, lip sticks, tar, heavy oils and grease. It is a highly concentrated product; a small amount can soften even the most persistent spot. Formula L.R. has a semi-paste consistency and it can be applied with brush or cloth. Formula L.R. is a pre-spot removal effective for heavy material spots where it is needed to soften and eliminate dirtiness. 
Rinse with any solvent liquid cleaner. 

Formula B.R. Albatross
It is a highly concentrated formulation that removes effectively the blood spots from every kind of fabric. Formula B.R. it also removes food and perspiration spots. It does not harm the colors nor the fabrics. Formula B.R. is available in a "flip top" package, that allows its application straightly over the spot through a few drops at a time. Rinse with water or steam. 

Albatross Scorch-Out
It removes immediatly the slight marks of scorching and burnings  from the fabrics. Its package with spraying pump allows an easy application. After applying Scorch-Out on the mark simply pass the fabric through a warm drying  or iron at moderate temperature. Scorch Out is especially useful in textile stamping. 

Albatross Coffee Remover
It is a powerful non flammable cleaner that removes spots from coffee, tea, beverages, inks, grass, grease, beer, mustard, liquor and other foods. They do not harm any kind of fabric. The coffee spot remover Albatross is available in a "Flip top" package, that allows the straight application over the spot with a few drops at a time. Rinse with our water or steam. 

Magic Imp Rust Remover 
It is an soft acid formulation that easily removes all the rust and metal spots from fabrics such as: cotton, wool,synthetics, mixtures and carpets. It does not soften nor degrades fabrics. It can be also used to remove rust spots in porcelain, tiles and all kind of materials. It must be rinsed with water or steam.

Albatross offers adhesives for pallets available in a wide variety of packages and sizes to fulfill the demands of every kind and sizes of screen printers. In Spray or in bulk, solvent or aqueous based, scattering, by contact or roller. Albatross has adhesive for pallets suitable for its application. All Albatross adhesives are formulated to offer a longlasting fixation  and susceptible to pressure. In spray or in bulk, the Albatross adhesives  solvent based manufactured can be applied before the production process, or can be used to accelerate the dry-off time during the production process 

ALBATROSS SPRAY ADHESIVES

DRI WEBTM Is sprayed as a web  getting a very strong fixation.
It is the fastest web type adhesive available in the market and it does not transfer to the fabric. It is perfect for shirts and sweater shirts. Dri Web does not contain chlorofluorocarbon solvents nor chlorinated compounds. It is available in big packages of 20 ozs. 

HOLD TIGHTTM
It sprays as fine mist. This fine mist allows a uniform coverage that helps in getting a perfect register. It is ideal for shirts and cut parts. 

Hold Tight does not contain chlorofluorocarbon solvents nor chlorinated compoundss. Available in big packages of  20 ozs. 

ADHESIVES IN BULK ALBATROSS
AUTO-PALTM it is a non flammable solvents based  manufactured adhesive. Auto-Pal can be sprayed as web or mist. Its quick drying formulation  avoids the transfer to the fabric. Auto-Pal is available in packages of 1 and 5 gallons and drums of 55 gallons. 
SAFETY-PALTM Is  a pallets non flammable aqueous based adhesive. It does not contain any volatile organic compund  (VOC) and it helps improving the safety in the workplace. SAFETY-PAL provides a longlasting  fixation  and susceptible to pressure that can be reactivated applying a  water mist . SAFETY-PAL is available in 16 ozs roller appliers, packages of 1 to 5 gallons, and in drums of 55 gallons 

SPRAYING GUN FOR ADHESIVES ALBATROSS
The electric spraying gun for adhesives ALBATROSS XRT is a light gun that scatters the adhesive without using any propelling gas. Contrary to other alternatives like sprays, XRT does not require neither an adhesive pressure tank nor an air compressor. 
Among its features we highlight a powerful electric pump engine corrosion resistant, a switcher to adapt the flow speed and a tungsten carbon tip adjustable that can scatter either vertically or horizontally. The gun XRT standard has 2 injectors, an additional container with top, 2 valves and a winding electric cord. XRT can be purchased jointly with a reel to hang the gun over the printing press.

7)ALBATROSS SPOT REMOVER FABRIC GUIDE

Due to the nature of the materials, all products must be tested in a non-visible part of the fabric.

* Oil based spots: clean and rinse with cleaning solvent & Aqueous based spots: Clean with suggested pre-spot remover and rinse with water.

What can be done to avoid or eliminate rings?

1. Apply as little as possible cleaning solution just enough to eliminate the spot. When a garment is saturated, is more likely to leave a ring.

2. When a big area is cleaned, eliminate the spot in small sections following the proper procedure.

3. After eliminating the spot, extend the cleaned area applying a cleaning fluid  mist (or water if it is an aqueous based spot). Try to avoid the formation of a separation line between the cleaned area and the rest 

4. After extending the cleaned area, dry it as quick as possible. The cold compressed air (air device in the  gun) is the best way to dry the cleaning solvent. Water must be dried with hot air. While using a hot air gun or a hair dryer, be careful not to burn the fabric

5. If there still remain rings after having followed the steps above mentioned, they can be mostly eliminated applying Albatross Powder Spot Remover. After the fabric has dried, apply Albatross Powder Spot Remover over all the cleaned area. Let the powder dry until it becomes white. Remove the powder with compressed air or a brush
